Resumen

This paper is dedicated to show the main differences between two kind linear antenna arrays: dipole or microstrip elements. The radiation patterns of the arrays are compared in order to distinguish the main fixed applications where they can be used. The performance of the arrays is evaluated in accordance with the directivity and the compatibility with land or space applications.
