Abstract

Global approximate syncronization problem of coupled nonidentical dissipative systems is examined with help of the Thau observer design. New broader conditions for constructing of the Thau observer are established. Two settings of approximate synchronization problem are studied. Firstly, we take the case when the linear part of the observer is subjected to some perturbation. Secondly, the uncertain term is a time vector-function entering into equations of the observer in an additive way. As example, computations concerning the solution of the global approximate synchronization problem of nonidentical coupled Lorenz systems are given.
