Abstract

This article presents the results of an investigation with high school students of the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico. The work shows the design, implementation and evaluation of a proposal for teaching the subject of energy through traditional toys. The design of the didactic sequence is based on project-based learning and is oriented to the solution of problems focused on the structure of the games, modeling with Tracker software and demonstrating the potential of the use of technological tools in the learning of Physics, particularly in the concept of energy; derived from the research, students can develop the skills through experimentation that accompanies the interpretation of the physical phenomenon with the help of a technological tool, as well as the graph and equations that model it.
