Abstract

© 2018 IEEE. This article presents the implementation of a modulation strategy for AC servomotors, based on Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM), coupled to a fuzzy controller. The controller and the modulation strategy were embedded in an 8-bit microcontroller. Speed tests were executed with a predefined load to determine the performance of the system. An algorithm was developed to comply with the different commutation states for the appropriate windings switching. An error lower than 2 percent obtained with this methodology tested in a motor at speeds between 50 and 150 rpm.
