Abstract

In this study evaluated theGonzálezcatalyticy M.activityGutiérrez-Rojasof two commercial catalysts Ni-Mo/Al2O3 and Co-Mo/Al2O3 for the biofuels production under the259hydrodesulfurizationCrecimiento, sobrevivenciaprocessy adaptación(HDS). Thede Bifidobacteriumprocess is performedinfantis a condicionesJatrophaácidascurcas oil, due to its excellent flow properties, allowing the effluent mixing with commercial hydrocarbon cuts. Catalysts have the characteristic of the hydrodeoxygenation(Growth, reactionssurvivalof fattyand adaptationacids presentof Bifidobacteriumin J. curcas vegetableinfantis tooilacidicforconditions) the generation of chemically similar hydrocarbons to those of L.fossilMayorga-Reyes,origin. The effectP. Bustamante-Camilo,of the main reactionA. Gutiérrez-Nava,parameters as pressure,E. Barranco-Floridotemperaturey andA. Azaola-Weight Hourly Space Velocity (WHSV) Espinosawere evaluated. HDS process activity with pure J. curcas oil and 20% mixture with n-hexadecano was appraised. The results indicate that Ni-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst showed increased conversion of triglycerides and fatty acids to 265 Statistical approach to optimization of ethanol fermentation by Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the linear-chain hydrocarbons, being greater than 85%, compared to the Co-Mo/Al2O3-based catalyst, which had a conversion of close to 82%. Blends of J.presencecurcas ofoilValfor®with n-hexadecanezeolite NaA shows that the process is selective towards diesel production with high conversion of 98.5%. The selectivity can be oriented towards gasoline cuts by changing HDS process parameters.
