Abstract

Uncertainty is an inherent part in controllers for real world applications. The use of new methods for handling incomplete information is of fundamental importance in engineering applications. This paper deals with a simulink model for testing type-2 fuzzy logic controllers for minimizing the effects of uncertainty produced by instrumentation elements. We are proposing a model to deal with type-2 fuzzy logic controllers and we are showing a comparative analysis of the systems' response in the absence and presence of uncertainty.
