title = "Thermo-economic optimization of a novikov power plant model with a phenomenological heat transfer law",
abstract = "In this work a thermoeconomic analysis of a Novikov power plant model is presented by means of a profit function defined as the quotient of an objective function (as the power output) and the performance costs. This analysis is made for the case of heat exchanges given by a phenomenological heat transfer law the type of Q α Δ(1/T). We obtain the optimum operation point of the model in terms of the investment costs and the costs of its fuel consumption. We use two operation regimes: A) at maximum power b) at so-called maximum ecological function regime. The second one reduces drastically the production of the rejected heat from the plant to the environment in comparison to the maximum power output regime.",
