Resumen

Various aspects of high-speed steel and its use in metallurgical operations are discussed. More homogeneous and finer-grained structures can be obtained in high-speed steel through high-energy milling and spark plasma sintering. The fine grain materials are superior in their mechanical properties such as tensile strength.
