N2 - This work presents a telemetry system for use in Electroencephalography. This system can be used to transmit four channels of biopotential amplifiers. The modulation scheme used is based in 16-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation. The 16-QAM scheme was chosen in order to approach the bandwidth reduction. A 586 AMD microprocessor was utilized to perform the modulation and demodulation, and, a wireless transmission system is utilized to transmit the data to the storage unit. The biopotential amplifier and modulator are placed on the patient. The demodulator is connected to a Personal Computer (PC) in order to monitoring and processing the EEG.
