Resumen

The cross section for the process np → ηd in the region near threshold is calculated within a three-body model. Non-relativistic and relativistic results are compared. The shape of the cross-section is seen to be determined by the ηd final-state interaction alone, in both relativistic and non-relativistic calculations.
