N2 - It has been realized the recognition of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob (DCJ) and Alzheimer (DA) diseases using data of single EEG channel, applying the fractal dimension (FD), and Biorthogonal Wavelet function techniques to extract the pattern parameters. The training rate of the ANN employing the Wavelets patterns was up to 98%, and in the case the FD technique using for recognition up to 97%.
