Resumen

The crystal structure of [(η⁵-C₅H₅Fe(CO)₂]₂SnPh₂ is reported for the first time. It has less tetrahedral distortion than previously erroneously reported and the new data provides a superior "fit" to Mössbauer data relating to the nature of the bonding in tetrahedral compounds and complexes of tin.
