N2 - The general problem of control for neutral delayed systems (not just scalar case) has been widely analyzed by considering solutions based on time domain approach. As a consequence, sufficient conditions have been obtained following the mentioned approach. Instead, in this work the stability analysis is based on the frequency domain approach. It is proposed an observer based control for a particular neutral delayed system, in the scalar case. Convergence of the observer is solved using Nyquist stability criteria. The proposal is evaluated by means a numerical example.
