N2 - The main three conditioning factors for tourist development in Lake Chapala and its bank are; water quality, water
volume and the holistic view of man and the environment. The existence of the lake is determined by the status of the
Lerma Chapala basin, which has experienced deforestation-erosion-mudding, dehydration and pollution. The Lerma
Chapala basin is distinguished for holding up and accumulating superficial waters as well as being the dumping destination
of organic pollutants, mineral pollutants and waste water.
