Resumen

We study the logarithmic pion-mass singularities in the radiative corrections, to order α, to the decay τ→πντ We show that such contributions are independent of strong-interaction effects. We verify that the total decay rate is in agreement with the Kinoshita-Lee-Nauenberg theorem on the cancellation of mass singularities.
