Resumen
A class of error detecting-correcting linear codes arising from the canonical module of a 0-dimensional subscheme in a d-dirnensional projective space over a finite field is described. The dimension of the codes is obtained by means of the Hubert function of the canonical module. It is shown that these codes are the dual of the codes obtained by the evaluation map of homogeneous polynomials on the points of the subscheme. Some examples are included to illustrate the ideas.
