Resumen

This paper describes steady state and dynamic induction motor reduced order models improvement for the simulation of the dynamic performance of power systems. The steady state model is suited for power flow programs and is one solution to the problem of initializing the dynamic models of the induction motor. Dynamic models are in a reference frame that takes into account the transient frequency changes of the system and represent the damping effects of these devices correctly.
