Resumen
Uncertainty is an inherent part in controllers used for real-world applications. The use of new methods for handling incomplete information is of fundamental importance in engineering applications. This paper deals with the design of controllers using type-2 fuzzy logic for minimising the effects of uncertainty produced by the instrumentation elements. We simulated type-1 and type-2 fuzzy logic controllers to perform a comparative analysis of the systems' response, in the presence of uncertainty.
