N2 - Oligomers branches of oligo(phenylenevinylene) were attached to a fullerene C60 core. Two generations of oligomers were synthesized using Wittig and Heck reactions. The second generation oligomers showed bathocromic shift due to one more styryl group in the structure. All the compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, FTIR, UV-vis absorption and emission spectroscopy, MALDI-TOF, FAB+ mass spectroscopy and elemental analysis.
