Resumen
This article presents the main results of research conducted on the profiles of students entering graduate programs in management offered at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in order to identify their attitudes and experiences towards the subject of mathematics. The programs selected were: 1) Master of Business Administration (MAN), 2) Master of Public Administration (MAP) and 3) MBA in Management and Education Development (MED). The instrument used was a questionnaire with closed questions organized both as Likert. The main conclusions were that graduate students have a negative attitude towards mathematics and learning experiences have been unpleasant in the high school level. In addition, students perceive this course as a useful discipline, but difficult, and expressed attitudes of distrust and anxiety in situations.
