Resumen
The effect of exposition to 4°C (during 7,14 and 21 d) and different concentrations of several growth regulators on the regeneration of green plants, starting from anthers of rice (Oryza saliva L. Japónica H2005 cultivar) was studied. Results showed that treatment at 4°C for seven days stimulated the induction of callus starting from anthers. The plant growth regulators were essential for this induction, the largest effect was obtained with a combination of 2,4-D (1.5 mg L-1)and KIN (1 mg L-1); the highest formation of shoots and roots was achieved with the same auxin and BAP (0.5 mg L-1). The transfer of these materials to a culture media without 2,4-D allowed 37.5 % conversion to green haploids plants.
