N2 - The philosophy used in the mathematical modelling of the steam supply network of Cerro Prieto geothermal power stations is described. In order to form the simulation model of this system, mathematical models were developed for: the surface equipment such as separators, pressure control stations, steam turbines, low and high pressure interconnections, purges and wells. With the above mentioned models a computer programme was produced which operating conditions in the steam supply system.
