Resumen
This study presents the development of a mathematical model for the evaluation of the coefficient of performance of an endoreversible refrigeration Carnot Cycle. This cycle is internally reversible and externally irreversible, which gives it the endoreversible characteristic. The irreversibilities which are considered are due to the transference of heat between the low temperature heat source and the working fluid and between the working fluid and the high temperature heat sink. The generation of entropy by external irreversibilities was considered, with its corresponding minimization in order to obtain the maximum value for the coefficient of performance of the Carnot cycle of endoreversible refrigeration.
