Resumen
A method for vibrations attenuation applying parametric excitation is described. The parametric excitation is introduced in the stiffness of the mechanical system. General conditions for stability are derived by solving analytically the Meissner equation in two dimensions and using the symplectic properties of the monodromy matrix. Due to the Meissner equation solution, all the computations can be implemented without using numerical methods.
