Resumen

The removal of noise in signal processing allows optimizing and improving the operation and performance of various computational algorithms. Therefore, this document proposes a procedure for removing artifacts in electrodermal signals to highlight the changes in the signal due to external stimuli. In addition, a proposal is presented for the separation between the phasic and tonic responses. Test using signals with and without artifacts is done, showing significant differences in the output signals. Although the performance of the response separation algorithm alone presents favorable results, the identification of the phasic response stimuli is enhanced by the removal of artifacts. The artifact removal technique obtained a detection and elimination of 89.85% of the total counted artifacts.
