Resumen

In this paper a novel methodology for biphasic flow (air-water) is presented. It involves a CST-parametrization and the optimization by NSGA-II coupled to design and optimize amphibious propellers, through CL, CD and CP coefficients, which allow to operate in aerial and underwater environment. Finally, the results of CL, CD and CP, were evaluated by XFoil CFD software before and after of the optimization and then compared to each other, Evolving the optimization process for 140 generations, give a total of 70000 individuals and obtain a relative improvement for the new propeller design as nearly as 30%.
