Use of low temperature ozonolysis for determining the depth of polymerization in solution

Abstract

The use of the method of low temperature ozonolysis is proposed for determining the heat of polymerization of vinyl monomers in solutions active to ozone at 273 K. The heat of polymerization of methyl methacrylate in 50% benzene is 58·82 kJ/mole.
