Abstract
A new controller that uses the boost circuit as a DC-to-AC converter is proposed. It combines a classical and simple procedure used to accomplish the DC-to-DC conversion with a nonlinear control algorithm such that it is possible to estimate a bound on the steady state tracking error. A way to calculate the inductor and capacitor values ensuring a bound on this error is given. It is also shown that the controlled system can deliver a positive voltage with a control signal having values in the interval [0,1].
