Abstract

In this note we have searched for nonsymmetric Itô terms when the Maxwell field on a lattice includes fermions. We show explicitly that the Itô terms are not present in the corresponding effective continuum action if the space-time dimension of the lattice d is equal to 2 and 3. This is an expected result due to the flatness of the U(1) manifold.
