Abstract

Considering the correspondence that exists between the states of the Morse oscillator (MO) and the radial states of the hydrogen, it is possible to evaluate matrix elements. In this work, we show the correspondence between the states of a two-dimensional isotropic harmonic oscillator and the states of a MO. We prove that the states of a well of the Me are mapped in a degenerated multiplet of the harmonic oscillator.
