N2 - In this work, the synthesis of solid solutions type Ba1−xEuxTi1−x/4O3 (x = 0.001 and x = 0.005% by weight Eu3+) and its subsequent determination of electrical and magnetic properties were carried out. The samples were synthesized by the conventional solid-state reaction method. The grinding of the BaCO3, TiO2, and Eu2O3 precursor powders was carried out in an agate mortar with acetone as a control medium. The powders were mixed and calcined at 900 °C and then green pellets were manufactured which were sintered at 1350 °C for 5 h. The experimental results obtained by X-ray diffraction showed the presence of tetragonal BaTiO3 phase in the BaTiO3 sample doped with Eu3+ x = 0.001 and x = 0.005% by weight. Electrical measurements (Capacitance and permittivity) and magnetic measurements were made. Scanning electron microscopy results showed mostly sintered sub-rounded particles.
