Abstract

This paper has been divided into two parts, the first part presents several methods of managing LED arrays with their circuits, to present text or variables, the methods are based on a microchip microcontroller, which handles rows and columns of the matrices, which can be of 8 rows by 8 columns (8x8), up to 8x48, as well as the handling of 16x16 to 16x32, there is direct management from microcontroller, as well as support circuits to reduce the waiting time of the microcontroller. The second part presents the programming of the microcontroller that is done in the PIC-C compiler of ccsC, as well as a program in Java for the generation of characters for the presentation of texts.
