Abstract

This research has for aim to analyze the mechanical behavior of unit cells of filament wound helical pattern at ±55° using flat specimens, by measuring the displacement field obtained by numerical image correlation. The main objective is to evaluate the strains at different zones of the pattern in order to know the failure sequence and modes.
