Abstract

Two self-consistent photoacoustic methodologies were presented for measuring thermal diffusivity of self-curable resins. Assuming the surface absorption model, the methodologies make use of the analytical solution for the one-dimensional heat diffusion problem for a three-layer system. The analytical procedure relied on the normalization of the photoacoustic signal from the three layers.
