Abstract
Nanoporous aluminum oxide films (NAOF) were obtained at different conditions of synthesis (electrolyte concentration and applied voltage) in order to obtain materials with different morphologies among them. Anodization was used to obtain films with nanopores ordered uniformly over the surface having pore diameters about 5 to 15 nanometers and film thicknesses at micron scale. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to perform structural characterization, including a phase analysis; dimensions of porous diameters and of film thickness were successfully measured.
