N2 - Seven orchid species are reported for the first time from Veracruz. All of these were collected during the last 3 years, mainly in conserved fragments of cloud forest. These species are Anathallis abbreviata, Galeoglossum tubulosum, Homalopetalum pumilum, Leochilus johnstonii, Lepanthes totontepecensis, Mormolyca moralesii, and Ponthieva mexicana.
