Abstract
In this communication, it is shown that, by implementation of rank image filters on the model data, there are advantages in radiolocation image improvement in comparison with known rank smoothing filters in cases when noise with different values are simultaneously present in the images. New rank image filter families are derived which improve radiolocation images when the noise distribution is not well enough known. -Authors
