Abstract

We calculate the differential cross section of the reaction d(π^-, π⁰)nn between 164 and 500 MeV and compare the results with recent data. In general, we obtain good agreement with data except for the backward region at 263 and 371 MeV and the very forward region at 500 MeV. The calculation is performed within a recently proposed extended-three-body model.
