abstract = "Active noise cancellation algorithms (ANC) based on modification of filtered-x least mean squares (FxLMS) and filtered-x recursive least squares (FxRLS) algorithms are proposed, which are a direct consequence of using an orthogonal transform for decomposing the filter input into a number of finite and mutually near orthogonal signal components. The most important advantage of this approach is that it admits processing schemes in which each signal component can be independently processed. Computer simulation results are given to show the desirable features of proposed schemes.",
