Ordering operations and lexicographical evaluations of likelihood in models of discourse

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The paper deals with the research of algebra of ordering operations generalizing some operations of Zade algebra, particularly, minimum and maximum operations. These ordering operations take into account information about operands more completely in comparison with Zade operations. Ordered lists of operands are the result of application of ordering operations. These lists are compared with each other lexicographically. Ordering operations are guided by processing of information in discourse models used in various intelligent systems, for example, in expert systems of medical and technical diagnostics, intelligent decision making systems, etc.
