Abstract

A synthesis route for obtaining combinations of ZSM-5/MCM-41 materials led to the growth of zeolitic crystallites embedded into the mass of MCM-41 mesoporous materials, which have distinct textural properties, surface areas of about one half of conventional MCM-41, and the formation of double wall thickness. These data were determined from X-ray diffraction and N2-adsorption data.
