On the bound states of the Dirac equation with a Coulomb potential in 2 + 1 dimensions

Abstract

The solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional Dirac equation with a Coulomb potential obtained by studying Tricomi equations were discussed. The Tricomi equations were found to be obtained from a pair of coupled firt-order ones. The eigenvalues and their fine structures were also elaborated.
