Abstract
In this work we introduce squeezed states with real and complex squeezing parameters directly obtained in the coherent-state representation of the harmonic oscillator in quantum phase space. By means of the Fourier transform, we recover the usual coordinate states and compare these states with those obtained by another method in the coordinate representation. In addition we also describe numerically its time evolution in quantum phase space and the variances Q̂ and P̂.
