New records of Ascomycota from tropical dry forest in Sonora, Mexico

Abstract

Eight new records of ascomycetes from Sierra de Álamos-Río Cuchujaqui Biosphere Reserve in Sonora, Mexico are reported. Hypoxylon anomalum and Munkovalsaria donacina represent new records for Mexico, while Bionectria byssicola, Fracchiaea heterogenea, Hypoxylon lenormandii, Lasiodiplodia theobromae, Peroneutypa scoparia, and Pseudocosmospora vilior are new records for Sonora.
