Abstract

As a result of samplings carried out in the course of eight expeditions, an inventory of the most representative malacofauna of different parts of the coasts of Bahia de Loreto and Danzante, Carmen and Coronado islands of Baja California Sur is presented. There were registered 61 species of Pelecypoda, 69 of Gastropoda, four of Polyplacophora and two of Cephalopoda. Mollusks of the mexican coasts are relatively well known. However Bahia de Loreto has not been studied and only 16 of the species that live there are described in the specialized literature of this area.
