Abstract
The Ing. Basiliso Romo Hydraulics Laboratory of the Irrigated Department of the Autonomous University of Chapingo, Mexico inaugurated, in 1994, a computerized measurement system that permits experts and students to study, process, store and transfer information concerning the variables involved in hydraulic processes at first hand. As a further application of that system, dynamic modeling, and closed loop flow and level controls are proposed for the Rehbock Channel. Given the complexity of the processes and the parameter variability, experimental information is used to calculate the dynamic models.
