N2 - The martensite initiation temperature (Ms) in pure Co and in mechanically alloyed and then sintered Co-Cu alloys was determined by measurement of electrical resistance during cooling from room temperature to -253°C. The effect of the copper addition and nanostructured grain on the martensitic transformation was determined.
