Abstract

An low noise EEG biopotential multichannel amplifier is presented. The amplifier is designed by use of integrated circuits such as the instrumentation amplifier AD620, very low offset voltage OP77, switched capacitor low pass filter Max 281, etc. The amplifier is applied in multichannel medical equipment together with a microprocessor and PCMCIA memory, in a portable battery operated system. The portable system can be used in the diagnosis and localization of pathology brain events. Such the applications require the long term recording analysis of stored EEG signals.
