Abstract
Uses the following lithophile elements as indicators: the hydrolysates (rare earths, Hf, and Th), and Rb and Cs, whose ratio can be used to evaluate variations in grain size and mineral composition. Examines the possible fractionation of elements due to hydrodynamic and physicochemical factors that influence sediment composition in the transition zone. -from Journal summary
