Liquid densities of hexane + benzothiophene mixtures from 313 to 363 K and up to 25 Mpa

Abstract

The liquid densities of hexane + benzothiophene mixtures were measured at 313-363K and up to 25 MPa were determined using a Vibrating Tube Densitometer coupled to a visible sapphire cell. Experimental densities of hexane measured agree with published data. To fit the experimental data and calculate excess molar volumes of mixtures measured, BWRS EOS was used. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 2006 AIChE National Meeting (San Francisco, CA 11/12-17/2006).
